    Default Insuring Modifications - Coilovers

hi guys, how much did all of your premiums go up by when you declared coilovers?

i just phoned my new insurers and they said it would be an increase of 65 for the remainder of the policy cover - so basically for the 12 months as i have only just taken the policy out. seems ok to me seen as its like for like cover, what did you all pay?

    Hi mate...

Different insurers will charge different things mainly due to their "admin fee" so it will be difficult the gague how much of your additional premium would be the risk aspect.

In my professional opinion 65 seems very fair.

    Yeah it is.

You may have found that towards the end of your insurance year they'd have done it for no additional premium up to renewal, 65 for the year is good though

I was quoted 35 for 9 months as long as the drop wass less than 50mm. Beyond that it would be 'uninsurable'. I think admin charge would have been on top. 65 doesn't sound too bad at all.
