How come those ones are so cheap?

Will any H4 xenon HID kit fit the C2?

Also how do you fit them where does the power come from? The standard light plug?

Just been looking about and I think it goes on so long as fitment is the same as the standard bulbs but hopefully someone can confirm this

I sell 4300k and 6000k H4 Bi-Xenon kits, I have 6000k's on mine - Imho, I think 8000k look too blue and will attract attention from the peelers....

Hold on Clive, how do you get around that?

Hope this answers your question ;-)

    LOW BEAM Kit
If your vehicle uses 2 pairs of bulbs, 1 for low beam & 1 for high beam, use this kit for your low beams. An additional kit may be purchased to convert your high beams as well. (NOT SUITABLE FOR A C2)

    HIGH/LOW XENON(2 Ballasts) Kit
If your vehicle uses 1 pair of bulbs which function as low & high beams, you may choose this kit & not loose your high beam function. Each bulb requires 1 ballast & functions as the high & low beam. (CHEAPEST OPTION USES A MOVING BULB)

    BI-XENON (4 Ballasts) Kit
If your vehicle uses 1 pair of bulbs which function as low & high beams, choose this kit & retain your high beam function. Each bulb has 2 true xenon bulbs in 1 lamp. 2 ballasts are required for each bulb so a total of 4 ballasts come with the kit. This is the ideal choice for high & low beam function but worth the extra cost due to using 4 ballasts & dual lamps in each bulb. (EXPENSIVE OPTION)

Thanks for that Simon, think I would go for the cheap moving bulbs when I get round to it :-)

Just seen the red one on that site, you are just asking to be pulled if you have them

    on the subject of HIDs.....

got my brother Grimsby.Joe a set of these for his birthday and will be fitting them for him shortly, but am interested in the blown bulb warning and any necessary work around required. his is 07 plate (mk2?).

i aint had a chance to find out for myself whether the head lights are on the blown bulb warning circuits (they aint on my alfa!) but Joe seems to think they will be on his C2.

any hints tips or clues would be most welcome lads!

also to answer the main topic question, Joe has got 6k colour temp for his C2 as its what he wanted, but i got 8k on the alfa and am more than happy with them, although people do comment on them being a tad blue. will see if i can get a comparison shot when they fitted

quick question bout this, with these bulbs burning at such a high temperature are they not really prone to blowing?

also, with the 2 ballast kit can you simply replace the bulb or is the moving mechanism all integrated with the bulb?

how much do 6000k bulbs retail for normally?

and lastly, is there any chance that the police could decide to crackdown on cars that have aftermarket HID kits?

    cheers
