iv not heard much about anyone performance modding a 1.1 b4 so does anyone know where i can get cams for my 53plate 1.1 or have an idea where i could start? had remap in mind anyway. need new back box cos mine dead so cat back on way after crimbo. and apart from induction kit i dont know anythin else that would be worth doin to it.

i know i wont get mega gains and itll never be as fast as the vt*'s and gts but i dont want that, i just want to liven it up abit.

any ideas guys and gals?

Well I have a 1.1 myself... And personally I think you are better just doing an engine conversion my friend.
That is what I am planning to do, a 1.6 VTS engine which you can pick up brand new for about 450... Then possibly a Turbo ;)

Mainly because I feel tuning a 1.1 is pointless, that is just me though.
I just tend to look at the bigger picture.

The first major thing you need to do is GET RID of the 17" alloys, put some 15" back on with a lower profile radius, this will give you alot better accelleration than those over weight 17's.

I know this because when I went back from the GT alloys to my standard 15" steels it made a dramatic improvement to my 1.4i Senso Furio, also my MPG increased by 7mpg

i agree wif teddy, u shud just swap the engine wif a 1.6 cos the hp gain in a 1.1 wud be miniscule and u wud spend shit loads doin it when u cud spend the money on a faster engine in the first place

just been readin it jonny, they recon could get anythin upto 130bhp and thats loonacy lol. gunna get couple things like cam, cat back, induction valves and see what the gains are, if not much then i cut my loss's and do swop.
