How much wiring is involved with fitting angel eye lights? Ive been told the dipped and full beam will just connect to the std c2 plug (on the old headlights) but the rings will need to be wired into the side light. Is this correct and are they hard to fit?

I'm about to fit some myself and have found the following useful...

Wiring (http://www.c2club.co.uk/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=18994&highlight=angel+eyes)

Replacement bulbs (http://www.c2club.co.uk/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=19495&highlight=angel+eyes)

Bumper removal (http://www.c2club.co.uk/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=19949&highlight=angel+eyes)

Side lights (http://www.c2club.co.uk/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=19829&highlight=angel+eyes)

The only thing I'm unsure about is how difficult it is to get that top bumper off!

the top bumper is connected to the lower bumper. So its 1 bolt under each wheel arch. then a cuple bolts underneath. abd i think 5 torx screws when you lift the bonnet up. or in more detail...

Wiring up Angel Eyes - what fun !

Well, I managed to fit them in the dark tonight at 7:30 thanks to all the tips on this site.

I parked the car so that it was facing a wall with the full beams on then got to work on the arches (1 screw under each) then removed the 4 torx screws from under the bonnet. The top half of the bumper then pops out just enough to get at all three screws on the original headlights.

The wiring is straight forward on the angels, both whites to the single white wire, then both blacks to the single black wire. A couple of things to note, the plastic clips that fix the lights to the car ARE flimsy so don't tighten them too much or else they will snap.

The lights have decent visibility as standard but really need aligned properly at a garage, that's a must.

Other than that they look pretty cool although those blue sidelights aren't doing a lot for me.

Does anyone know the legality of removing them so I'm left with only the halos as sidelights?

Time took around 50mins+ although it was pitch black, you should be able to do it in 20 25 in the light!
