Daul altenator lamp error code

Hi I have a P1108 error code stating Duel alternator battery lamp error. Had it on a lexia but could not exactly determine the fault. Had the error cleared but it popped up again, and the c2 started idling rough.
Had the MAP sensor replaced, new plugs fitted. What could be the problem. The mechanic told me it could be a loose connection, or the BSI unit by the battery, and that I must clean all the points of the fuses
as well as all the earth points. Any help would be appreciated

Its a C2, 2006 VTR, 1.4, 8 VALVE
