    Default coolant leaking around thermostat.

Coolant leaking around thermostat. Is it a common fault? Housing cracked or hoses/clips to fail?

I fitted new one which lasted a week. Was quicker to get one local then seller (ebay item) refunded the money to me.

Sorted, The water hose secured under thermostat had split. Repaired using short piece of 3/4" internal diameter rubber hose and hose clips!
