    Default Fuel Line popping off

    Evening,

While driving home this evening I noticed a drop in power, the car eventually died and a rather distinct smell of petrol. Hazards on and rolled to the side of the road.

Opened the bonnet, Petrol everywhere and the pipe had come loose. Is this common? Checked and nothing has jumped out on the forum.

This has happend once before and I put it down to me stripping the manifold down and not putting it back on properly. Would this be pressure related or has it just wiggled loose

The pipe was secure as far as Iím aware.

    Thanks

It clips in place , sounds like it has not been fitted properly , push it back on , make sure it goes fully home , to remove there are two small yellow indents in the end of the connector , nip those together to remove it ,

Once it’s on properly it can’t come off unless you press the clip part in, never known one come off if fitted properly
