Default Fitted amp and sub into c2 2007 and flat battery the next morning

Possibly a school boy error but can for the life of my work it out.

Amp is Sony xm-sd14x, only have it powering a subwoofer, head unit is a double din Pioneer MVH-AV290BT

Battery is exide excel eb500 with 50ah

I believe the oem alternator is 80amps

Any clever people on here able to tell me what the problem is?

Worth pointing out that the car never failed to start prior to the amp install, have last night slow charged the battery, showing 12.67 volts when engine not running and 14.4volts when running

The amp is connected with a remote wire too too should only draw current when the stereo is on

    Really would appreciate some help

What did you use to make sure the unit powersdown , these cars are a canbus system where everything communicates over a twisted pair network ,inc the radio, you need to pick up a permanent live , and also use the cigarette lighter as your ignition control so the unit powers down when the car does,
