Power steering fault

Hi all. New to forum and hoping for some info. I have a 2007 C2 vts petrol and it has recently begun to randomly lose power momentarily to the power steering which
causes immediate heavy steering all be it for only for a second. It has a recent new battery and have checked terminals are tight and have checked earth strap to gearbox housing ,
Which is clean and tight. No fault codes coming up on reader either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ....

my gt did this a while ago , started her up and she had no power steering , disconnected the battery for 10 minutes , reconnected it , started her up and she was fine , never had a problem since

if its petrol engine its a SHE and if diesel its a HE.
