Thread: Frozen display

    Default Frozen display

So I fitted a double din kenwood radio and my dash display freezes.

I used a connects2 stalk control adaptos specific for the c2 and the connects 2 patch lead and the stalk controls work fine, and the radio switchess off with the ignition. I checked the adaptor wiring and it does switch the permanent and ignition positive (like the citroen lead which I do not have).

I kniw this is a known issue but my impression was that it should not happen if you use a dedicated iso adaptor for the c2 (the connects2). Everything else works.

Any solution for this? BSI reset? Configure the display with lexia?

Mk1? Buy the proper Citroen adaptor as it isolates the radio from the van bus network

Thanks Trek. I know about the adaptor but just thought the connects2 adaptor for the c2 would do the same. Other posters report their stalk control does not work when they also use the citroen lead, any thoughts on that?

I kniw there is a setting in lexia to tell the display there is a radio installed, have you tried that before?
