    Default After Market Stereo/Radio Type

    Hi,

I have a Citroen C2 Furio 2006 and i am wanting to swap the stock radio for a nice after market one.

I have checked with my Insurance and it is fine with them.

I have read there are different car radio types such as DIN and Double DIN etc.

    1. What type of after market radio do i need to buy (is is DIN?)
    2. Is there anything else i need to be aware of or need to install the radio?
    3. Any tips for installing a new radio?

    Thanks,

    Harvey

You can fit either single or double, thats just whether you want a big screen or not really, or if you wanna keep the little shelf as a double din will require removing it

Also you will want to get one that allows stalk controls so you can still use your stalk to change volume etc

How will i know if it can work with my stalk?
Is it a DIN or Double DIN that i can get then? (Double DIN being the bigger ones)

Will i need any fascia plates?

Should say if it has stalk capabilities when you buy it, or may ask, may have to buy an adaptor
And you can buy either, depends what you prefer really

I'm guessing the Harness is the ISO Adapter... will this one work with all stereos then?

Will any stalk adapters work or shall i just look for ones compatible with the stereo? Will i need to specify the cars stalk adapter it needs to be compatible with when looking for one?

Okay, So i have found the ISO adapter and Stalk adapter that i need. But i have just been on the Dynamic Sounds website and see a wiring harness with Aerial adapter... will i need an aerial adapter for a pioneer stereo or will FM stations work without one?

    Thanks.
