Also found a Combe picture on Instagram randomly!

As some of you will already know I'm setting up a business designing and supplying performance parts centred around the Citroen C2. Check us out at www.trackspec.co.uk
I have designed some gear shifter tower spacers for cars with and without centre console plastic surrounds which are a nice improvement to the ergonomics of the gear stick!

They will be ready in 4 weeks hopefully.
Also now stickers up the GT to promote the business.

I will be at castle Combe for forge action day testing some very special products on the car....

We took the car to forge action day which was extremely wet and far from ideal on the r888r's I'm running so was interesting to say the least.
The alternator decided it wanted to die on the first session but managed part of another session before having to go and get a new one to fit to drive the car home... not a good day!
Still had a lot of fun but didn't really get the seat time I hoped for.
A video of the second session was all I got but the car was misfiring so I abandoned the session.

Yes it was a very nice M3, the guy was taking the piss with it being wet and in heavy traffic with a lot of novices on track.
He had a moment just after in front of my friend in his Impreza, I'm all for pushing hard but no cal to be dangerous!

Trackday booked for Bedford on the 14th November so decided to improve the braking with a lovely set of Carbone Lorraine or CL brakes as they're now known RC6 pads....... Epic stopping power!
We are suppliers of CL brakes so you know where to go to get your brakes sorted!

Some more testing at Bedford in November highlighted a few changes I wanted to make to our coilovers kit which we sell.
I had a great day on track and the experience gained was invaluable to moving the car and developments on in the right direction.
    [IMG][/IMG]
    [IMG][/IMG]
It was another wet day with horrible conditions meaning a lot of slidingand brakes locking up so since then I've implied some changes to spring rates and developing rear axle camber and toe shims to further improve things which will be on sale soon.
Lots of four wheel drifting below...
    [IMG][/IMG]

Late nights spent making the changes.
    [IMG][/IMG]

Going to sort a few more things and then get the car back out to test the changes but initial feeling is a big step in the right direction!

So I re painted and fittedvthe Citroen sport spoiler, personally I love it and they do actually work to add downforce but increase drag. Next test will let me know how much better or worse the car feels but from memory of my original GT back in 2004 that I had one fitted to the car feels more planted but slows the top end.

Have you considered having some aprons moulded that bond to the top of original roof-lip spoiler and follow the profile of the roof but overhang the rear window further?

That would add downforce (or reduce lift) by virtue of there always naturally being a low pressure area behind the car and increasing the 'spoiler' overhang would give the low pressure a lower sutface to act on.

The L/D ratio should be pretty good because drag would hardly increase, and it would be a vey eays thing to make with a bit of pre-preg.

I haven't thought or looked any more into the aero package as really I'm still working on more mechanical grip but perhaps with time I will visit it again but for now the spoiler does the job
