Thread: Loeb 210 progress thread

Okay few people know I went down to wales to collect this as a project car

Bit sorry for itself bodywork wise and requiring front discs/pads but an ideal basis for what I was looking for as it's going to get rebuilt from ground up
It has high mileage but tbh you wouldn't know as drives fine
I came back up country and it never missed a beat and was a comfortable drive
Today was muck out day , basically strip the interior out , clean the car at shell level , then clean and refit the interior using new type anti rattle clips and a lot of elbow grease

Tomorrow is exhaust and suspension day and see what else gets done

Must of been one of them days
Put my interior back in as until I get the Cituning maxi kit on and bodywork finished
Then see if it's a sell or heart transplant job lol
If it's heart transplant then cage harnesses and seats will go in , steering wheel upgrade and probs a lifeline set up

Bit of an update , been busy sorting out the Furio I bought ( now sold ) the Vtr ( now sold ) and Zach's old car ( now also sold)
Leaves me with the blue gt 0391 , a red gt 1020 and I have just purchased another red gt lol( bit special this one)and collect that this week
The Loeb project is slowly progressing and currently looks like this

Had petrol tank and rear axle out and a bit of a tidy up

Axle and front arms are now power flexed

Sorted out pipe work to move silencer to centre line(ordered everything from Mij Exhaust today)
Also ordered the gaz gold rear adjustable shocks today (ordered from Corby Motorsport, already have adjustable spring platforms and new rear springs sat here)
Braided hoses are here and next job is to refit the replacement rear axle ( it's only done 15000 miles) as soon as rear shocks arrive
Few more parts to chase down and order , then start on the front ( wheel bearings, discs, and caliper upgrade ,braided hoses , ball joints , drop links and top mounts (everything sat here)
Air con pipes, pump and rad to remove and gt alternator set up to fit... Timing belt and water pump kit to do as well
Front suspension I haven't made my mind up yet ( have highsport coilovers sat here , but could end up with a Gaz set up)

Yep , but what's 60 buy you nowadays ? , price for carbon stuff not cheap , chasing a carbon roof vent I ordered ages ago at the moment , to complete the carbon bits I want on the car
Wheels ( brand new 8 x 17"team dynamic pro race 1.2 in black )came Friday , tyres ( Toyo T1r 's came same day as well ,currently waiting for the GAz rear shocks arriving then I can get it back on the floor ,
406 Brembos are to strip and get powder coated red then rebuild with new parts . Discs are already sat here ....' That's in between sorting out two GT s , 0003 and 1020 ....... progress is slow but is moving forward .
All front end panels are already painted ready , just to bolt together , headlights ( morettes or standard ) are here ...have a set of rear morettes here as well , interiors all done as far as it going for now , exhaust now sorted
