    Default Session Timeout

Any chance someone can increase the session timeout for the forum or web server?

A number of times I've been creating a post with large attachments and I've been kicked out before I've finished uploading them all. Damn sky broadband and high MP digi cam.

Just complete what you're doing then try and post it ( it will ask you to login) just complete the login and it will finish the upload

I get kicked out if I use safari on iPhone so I downloaded Firefox.

I've found google chrome the best to use. Can't down load pictures off my iPad for some reason though

Session timeouts are currently set for 2 minutes.

This means, if you aren't using any form of caching on your browser, if you leave the site for 2 minutes and don't come back any session information relating to your previous connection will be dropped from the server.

2 minutes is more than default for the web server we're using so this won't be the issue (not to mention this hasn't changed in ~2 years).

I'd start by looking at the caching settings you're using on your device(s) and see if there's any way to cache more data on them.

The server is holding your session for an adequate amount of time.

If the issue is solely with large attachments, I'd ask that you host your images elsewhere and link to them here.
