French Car Show, possible day before convoy.

Just wondering if anyone is going down the day before of FCS from the North-West? Me and two other lads from the ClioSport forums are going down around mid-day on the Saturday and staying in a hotel roughly 11 miles away which is £55. Give us chance to get the cars cleaned up for the Sunday and then just chill out and have a few beers. Anybody interested in joining us, give me a shout.

Just rang that Hotel up, they only have one room left, and it's superior. Am I bollocks paying £99 for a room I'm spending less than 5 hours in.

The C2 may be having to be trailered to the show, might be loosing my license. And just for the record, it's not for stupid driving! Lol

Well cut a long story short, I got a ticket last year for 36 in a 30. I told a mate of mine at a car meet, and he said "oh, just give me the ticket and £100 and a lad I know who works for the DVLA will wipe it off the system''. Obviously, anybody would of done it because it saves you getting points on your license, but clearly it's not fool proof as he's been caught and has had his computer siezed. Apparently he's done it for 571 people, charging £100 a pop. So he's made a killing, but everyone has had a letter from the Road Crime Unit asking to call up to make an interview. When I said loosing my license, I'm just preparing myself for the worst. But to be honest, I think the worst that will happen is that I'm given the 3 points I should already have and the fine.

I know a lot of you are about to say, what a twanker', but I've learnt my lesson from this one I think.
