Whilst stripping the mods off my c2 I've been thinking... I don't want to leave this club, despite not having much input on the day to day affairs of the club I've constantly been viewing forums, looking at others cars to get ideas and using the help guides submitted by others and I thought I'd put forward a wee suggestion.

Now the C2's life is drawing to a close and production of new c2's stopping and members are moving on to bigger and better cars - why doesn't the club spread its wings and move into other car groups? For example we now have a sister site for the DS3, why not move the club into the hot hatch market and cater for Leons, Clios, focus's and other hatchbacks?

Having a joint club will keep members in contact and bring about a sense of competition between car owner factions. It will also look damned good if we all rock up to a show in the same paddock with a whole fleet of vehicles ranging from Sags BMW through to all the different c2's (Sags BWM is just an example I'm sure other members have equally or better motors).

What are your thoughts about this folks? I know for the site owners it'll probably be a logistical nightmare trying to organise numerous different forum sections, but hey they've done a good job so far right?

A lot of the ex C2 members still stay around, for instance Sag, Barry and Mark straight off the top of my head are all ex-C2 owners yet are still massively active on the forums.

Thats very true, guess now my c2's gone I don't wanna leave either so I'll stick around even if I don't have any guides for me Clio lol - can always get feedback if I mod the looks though!
