Speedding ticket in C2

Only had the C2 for 3 and bit months and Notice to Intended Prosecution (NIP) is on my doorstep. Geez! I brought the car for mpg and to use for work. I sold a 200bhp Smart Brabus forfour and in 4 years of driving too fast never got a ticket! Gutted.

Yes, I actually do remember the date of the offece, hidden camera van on other side of road, i thought dont oncoming traffic, but i saw a red flash in the mirror (yes was at night/dark) which i hoped was for the other driver.

Night Camera vans, thats not cricket, so looks like my £60 will be going to pay for suffolk polices pockets............. or is it the bank handouts............

Unlucky mate. Least it's only an SP coded ticket, insurance companies don't mind one of those. My 3 are on a different code and it's a killer

update, first chance to speak to suffolk ticket office, im allowed to take speed awareness course and maybe not get the points, but it costs £120!

ive only ever had one speeding ticket, that was in my very first car my Citroen ax 1.0! i was doing 53 in a 40mph zone. and that was one of the slowest cars one the road 0-62 in about 23sec (yes i timed it). just goes to show it dont really matter car you have!

i have a 2ltr turbo corsa - never even been pulled over in that...

in the 1.1 c2... sp30, sp50(x2), ts10...

never been offered any courses- just points :( I say do it!!

We don't even get offerred anything up here 'cept a bit of smarmy cheek then points then a fine, so you really have to know what your rights are before you pass your test here lol.

Some arsehole tried to give me a parking ticket and there was a car parked infront of me who never got any ticket, we were both in what "used to be" a parking bay, but the lines were totally gone, so I fought it all the way and got the fine lifted, give you a fine for anything the bastards.

ive only got three outstanding points in my license at the moment, and if i get any more (fingers crossed i dont) - i'll be asking for the course....

Never had a speeding ticket myself, i've had a few close calls of seeing a van at the last minute though.
