performance wise it's basically the same as the C2 if a touch slower, but build quality wise the swift seems better and the interior is a bit more classy. They also seem to keep their value quite well.

It is taller than the C2 and a bit higher off the ground as well ... but she totally wont be interested in lowering haha.

yeah i think they have 125hp same as the VTS but there a wee bit heavier. and i've noticed that they hold the value quite well which is the main reason i havent bought one yet...haha. i've been looking round on some of the swift owners clubs though and they all complain about the interior being quite rattly and plastic. but then again they might not have been in a french car :P

The bucket style seats are pretty lush aswell imo and the optional extra leather ones are amazing. you should have a look on swiftowners.co.uk, try and get her interested in the HKS turbo'd swift :P

After having a proper wee drive, I can say it is rather tasty, first 3 gears (0-60) are virtually the same if a little slower than the C2 but 4th and 5th seems to have more pull and generally feels more comfortable. Interior for me was rattle free.... but like you say im used to a C2 lol, the interior looks much more classy and less plasticy than the C2. Gearbox is nice and smooth and clutch is nice but thats probably because its a newer car than mine. Overall a nice wee motor and I would personally recommend, as for the HKS turbo'd swift.... she's a bobby so it probably wouldnt be a good idea lol.

Oh, and yes Will that is a new exhaust..... and its a bit louder than I wanted actually haha, but it looks sweet. I may have to bring both cars along to FCS.

I learned to drive in the Ignis, so when I sat in the swifts I liked them - actually went to see if i could buy one, but went for Kez instead

Nice motor though - hope she enjoys it :)
