Hi guys, We live in the bottom of a cul-de-sac and I wouldn't mind knowing the actual law on whether I can park outside.
Firstly, what is the difference beween a cul-de-sac and a turning circle? Outside my house it is more of a rounded rectangle shape then a circle.
There are also no signs about parking outside either.
Thanks
Nick

there isnt any law specific to parking in a cul-de-sac as far as i'm aware. its just about being courteous by leaving enough space for other cars and not blocking the view at junctions etc.
As 2CAN has said, so long as there isn't any lines on the road you're fine, just about leaving space.
My street is exactly the same, only 15 houses and the one opposite has a drive big enough for 5 cars, but they have 7 so have to park on the road and don't do it well at all.

7 Cars!? Greedy buggers.
There's 6 of them, one is a work van, but they're religious folk and all over 21 and have jobs etc.
