We enjoyed every minute of this meet. It was great to meet up with old and new friends and cruise in our C2s.
The weather was great. The site was brilliant. The staff were so helpful.
Thankyou everyone who came and also thanks for playing footy and rounders with Emily. She's joined the site now, so watch your language!
It's a shame more people couldn't come, but next year's will be bigger and better! Probably in May sometime so less chance of people being on holidays.
I've put some pictures up in the other thread. (http://www.c2club.co.uk/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=30177#30177)
Cheers. I'm off for a long bath now and a cool beer.

Re the mystery man.
Remember if he's read about the camping weekend on the site then he must be a member (one of the 900) because the Gatherings forum is members only, so he'll be reading this.
If so - whoever you were, thanks for coming and showing an interest. You were very welcome to join in, and I hope that those of us that spoke to you created that impression. If you want to reveal yourself discreetly, PM me or Jody.
On another note, does anyone else look like a strawberry, like I do now? :D
I'm so chuffed it went well and everyone enjoyed it.

Yeah Kay your pix are fine in Firefox but just show a red X in IE6.
Glad you enjoyed it. You're Emily's best mate now!
Joe didn't look a happy bunny, did he, having to go to work tonight. :(
Kay the problem now is that you've run out of bandwidth on your geocities, and after a couple of hours the links stop working because of hotlinking and such. i would recommend a photobucket account and whack them on there and replace the hyperlinks cos then everyone can see them i cant.

cool. just got the last of the bits and bobs from the car, done 384 miles since 10am saturday and it just occured to me that im driving to the far side of devon tomorrow and coming back wednesday (280-odd miles each way) haha how many hours driving i dont wanna think about!

Just stopped at the pub about 12:15 to cancel our lunch booking (more polite than just legging it LOL) and the barmaid had a right go at Sue for the short notice. At least we told her.
Glad everyone enjoyed themselves though. I loved every minute and today I felt so "up". Great! That lasted about 5 minutes when I got to work though LOL.
I'd like to say that everyone was really positive and "well behaved" [/dad mode] and the site owners complimented us on how well organised we were especially as it was our first meet. Even the barbie mess got cleared up, and everything was put away neatly.
Next year we need a flag and pole though.
Ah yes, next year. Watch this space...
Oh, and btw my sleeping bag was cosier than a cosy thing. Mmm.
my dad never tried to set smirnoff ice bottles on fire :P :P
