In my accident, the other car came around the corner at about 70+ on my side of the road, i swerved to get outta his way, steered to far, myself travelling around 60 (the speed limit) and went straight through a fence, throught a really posh garden, and into the corner of the house.

I was really lucky, only had whiplash and a minor wrist injury. The policemen said that, as i went through the fence and across the grass, it slowed the car down, and also having my foot on the brake, if i'd just hit the wall it could have been a whole lot worse.
