awa' – away
awa' n bile yer heed - “kindly put your head in the oven”
daen' – doing
no – not
yersel – yourself
gie – give
gie it laldy – put your back into it
pit – put
wi – with
gonnae no dae that – please don't do that
och – oh
basics – d'uh
nane – none
bairn – child
nut – no
jist – just
git awa – get away
git – get
nicht – night
richt – right
micht – might
