My mums gonna buy an Audi TT in the next week or so, and we were looking at the kinda rough trade in value for her wee Pug 207. We were expecting around 2500 - 3500 on trade in.

I jumped onto WeBuyAnyCar.com (saw it on that ad with the catchy tune) and we got a qoute of 4000.

We got booked in, 2 hours later we were there at their wee office, and the guy came out, no-bullshit chat or mucking about, theres a couple of dings on each side of the car, so we were expecting the valuation to go down to around 3500, he offered her 3900, and within half an hour the car was sold, and the money will go into her account on monday.

The whole process was a piece of cake, and I'd recommend this instead of p/x as you will get more for the car and also have lee-way with around 4000 of cash, so you can pressure the sales man into bringin a cars price down 500 or so.

Just thought I'd let ya'll know, I'd totally recommend them anyway :)

Cheers !

My bought her car around a year and a half ago for 5500, so to get that much was really good I thought. I guess itd be good for people selling their c2's as they would get around 3000+ depending on model etc.

i think Bump used them to sell vickys C2. Atleast you got a good deal off them though. They cant get it right for everyone though

Yeah, they also gave my mums man a valuation on his Vauxhall Signum, hes now looking for a Coupe, offered him 3300 which is like 600 under book price (and his cars scratched slighty too). Would just recommend giving them a go, takes like 5minutes online :)

They gave me a great value on my BMW back in Sept, but after reading some of the online reviews, I decided against using them...espeically with that amount of money involved.

Congrats on getting your mums sorted though, some of the success stories are great!

Yes we used them to sell Vicky's Furio and got around £250 below the lower price we were looking for but we wanted the cash so it worked well in that respect.

cause newer cars have a potential for more £ & are alot easyier to sell.
i'm always hesitant about buying older cars for the reason you don't know
how well they have been looked after. how they have been driven & esp. what
common faults they have had/had repaired.

kind of a lottery. if your handy with stuff its not a problem

i wouldnt use them either!!.. seem like bollocks tbh, i was offered £3000 for the BMW.. its worth atleast double that and they were only gonna give me only £1200 for the Clio i had and they offered my dad £3785 for his 04 plate V70 T5 with low mileage and all the extras..

Thats cause they don't get the scrapage allowance and they don't sell privately.

I got around £1000 maybey less on my 03 plate megan, ended up getting £1700 P/x on my VTR So they can swing both ways i suppose, depends on how generous the person selling you the new car is lol.
