Just a quick poll to see how many people have had problems, after installing a aftermarket Headunit.

I think I be getting a new aftermarket headunit sometime this year.

well when i replaced my headunit i found the radio didnt turn off properly until ecomode kicked in, didnt hold its memory and the central locking stopped working.

got the harness from citroen. part no. 947528 @ £3.47. this solved all the above problems but then i found my battery kept going flat.

turns out that citroen have wired it so the radio is permanent live. not a problem if your radio has a removable face but mine doesnt. so have temporarily removed the harness until i can be bothered to wire a switch to the headunit. that and the harness should then hopefully be the end of my radio problems!

got a pioneer in mine

get the part from citroen mentioned above, and ask them to use lexia to uninstall your standard unit - then no more problems!
