This is more of a reference really than a ''how to''
Having spent ages looking through every topic known to man (or c2 forum) trying to find pics on what it looked like behind the front grill and finding nothing! I decided to have a look for myself and take some pics, hopefully helping others who might wish to know.
I used this link first to take bumper off http://www.c2club.co.uk/index.php?name=forums&file=viewtopic&t=333 i hope that link works but if not its in the "how to" under ''how to take front bumper off a gt'' ps thanks for that guide, great help.
It is also helpful to see how the chevrons on the grill and the splash guard thats below the grill are attached.i also took the splash guard off and took before and after pics
Please let me know if pics load up ok because im on my phone and this is first time ive tried something like this

behind the bumper,you can see the clips and splash guard,also you can see all the plastic behind the grill which is what i pressume is what needs cutting out to install the gt grill

splash guard removed,used a small flat head screwdriver
