View Full Version : how do you remove drivers airbag?

How do you remove the airbag in the steering wheel on the C2. Any help much appreciated.

disconnect battery, leave for 15-30mins, remove the stearing rack casing, remove airbag, remove big bolt in middle of stearing wheel, make sure u keep hold of the stearing wheel while undoing the bolt, so u dont break the stearing lock.

nice one phill, It was more a question as to how you remove the airbag from the steering wheel to undo the big bolt :D

a small screw driver in to each hole at the back/ side of the wheel while gently pulling on the bag, this will release it and simply unclip the wire..
