View Full Version : Need Help With 2 Things !

My driver side headlight went out for about 43rd time :lol:

Tried replacing all fuses and bulbs and its still not working :?

What else could it be?

Also bought rear spakers, tried following the How To guide but its not very clear, I canot see the "gas strut pivot" at the rear seat, and cannot unclip the bottom clips of the trim, and I don't wanna just rip it off incase I snap the clips either :?

maybe a loose wire on your lights, you have aftermarkets in?

the rear speakers, i changed mine just the other week, that gas strut is only if you have the modular rear seats, and seriously just use brute force to pull off the door cards, the clips really arent that tight, i was worried at first but just yanked it and out they popped

Sounds like too much voltage/power/amps (probably not the term but you know what I mean) is going to the bulbs if you've gone through so many. My 106 had both its headlights go on the same journey but it just turned out to be a freak incident, but the car was given a check over and the power to the lights was checked.

Either that or you buy sh*t bulbs.

The bulbs are Ultra, same company that makes most HID bulbs...

My mums boyfriend is a sparky and he's gonna check my wiring 2moro, just seems to always blow on the one side :lol:

I've got angels in as well but never heard of this problem :?

And cheers scuderia ^^ the How To guide confused me with that strut pivot :lol: I will just yank it off 2moro, just seems to be the far clip near the door, I can see like a metal clip and it won't budge, but I'l just "rip the heed aff it" :-D

ye that strut confused me at first, i had the most troubly with the one by the door as well, good yank and it should come free and youll end up smacking your head off the other side of the car lol
