Dont get me wrong i love the car to bits... but when i´m driving and start hearing those blody vibrations from every bloddy plastic panel in the car...i wish i had gone for something with more quality... And this will no doubt be the first and the last citroen i will ever buy....

i do regret it, if i knew my GT would squeek like a bar stool, i would of gone for my orignal choice of the 1.4 Furio :) or spent the extra 1 or 2 K for the VTS :)

I wanted the VTR, but was auto, wanted manual.

yeah a lil bit all the probs i've had and bad customer service thas y i'm havin a german next next year. well 9months to be exact lol. better build quaity plus a lil bit better customer service as they kno u got a lil bit of money to own a german car. only thing i do like a bout the c2 is the sterio system and the looks. my m8 has always wondered if there is a lil sub in the c2 as when u put the loudness on it sounds like theres a sub in the boot as the back window moves

14-12-2006, 12:23 PM
Dont regret it at all.

There was nothing as new with such low mileage for £4500.

Well chuffed with it.

A friend of mine had a Skoda Fabia vRS and he has had a few problems with that. Considering they are made with VW parts and made to VW standards. Plus his experience with Skoda Customer Care wasnt very good either.

My own experience of Skoda sales wasnt good at all. I was looking at a new Fabia vRS. I went to the local dealer and I wasnt taken seriously. I was told they were no sales people available for rest of the day. And when I did get to speak to someone they offered me £4000 for my old Toyota Yaris. Took it back to the Toyota dealer and they offered me £6000 for it. Plus Skoda wouldnt budge more than £200 of their car. Oh and they wouldnt give me a test drive in a vRS.

I regret buying my SX after the problems I had with it, and same goes for the Pluriel, but dont regret buying the Furio.

my mum has always had a vw she's had manly golfs plus a darbie i think thas a vw (really old tho). she's had not had many probs. she's had a golf mk2 for 15yrs and tha was a good runner i wanted it for my 1st car as it was 1.6 8v and in good condition but only bad thing was no power steering. if i did i reckon i'd be on 3 points already lol good pick up as it was light and easy to mod. she's had a 1.6 se golf mk 4, a polo fsi (still got) and a new fox not a problem with the polo well only one it loves the oil thas it. it sometimes depends on the vw garage. but the ones my mum has used have been good eg merthyr for the polo and sinclar in cardiff even went to the bridgend one just to get a better price like as they are different franchises but she pops into the merthyr one the most because of my c2 as its across the road lol

Yep dan is right, most of the problems were with and still are with the Pluriel

Just gone into Citroen today to have its 4th roof fitted 8O various other problems too, could write a book.

Hmm, perhaps it's best not to write a book - we don't want to put people off Citroen now, do we?

I did originally wonder whether getting the VTS was a good idea or not (I am 35, nearly 36!) but I must say, apart from a few minor issues, I'm quite pleased with it. I've put nearly 9k on it since February and it feels like it's bedded in properly now. It rattles a bit (cheap plastic) but it's not a Bentley so I don't really mind.

Now if it was just slightly faster, I'd be pleased as punch ;-)

17-12-2006, 10:52 PM
i think the poll speaks for itself, it does my head in when people moan about little rattles on a cheap car that they had chosen mainly on price as lets face it, its a big factor when buying a car, and apart from a few friday afternoon cars on here and some minor problems they are a good little car. the resale value may only be average but they havent got a lot of money to lose have they? its a good little car that beats the hell out of the competition for style and fun, if not reliability/build quality.

Here here.

I dont regret buying mine, although my Yaris was quicker, I knew I was buying a small engined car, I have got the bike to go fast.

The C2 looks amazing and I wouldnt change it for any other car in its class.

Not that I was complaining about the C2.
