headunit and amp

i have a citroen c2 furio 1.4i o6 model and i have a ripspeed cmr-i4000 headunit . i was wondering wot i would need to get it working with the atalk controls aswell... also i need to run my amp wires throught the car i have heard about the gromit in the footwell so thats fine BUT how do i get the audio leads throught the dash to the back of the headunit?? ( i only just bought the car so dont want to damage anythin! )...

pretty sure you can get in behind the dash at the right hand side of the passenger footwell. stalk controls could be a problem for you, if you search for stalk controls theres loads of threads on it - you might be lucky though.

i have shopped around and found out my headunit is not compatible with the stalk controls anyway.... so im just guna stick in my H/U and wire up the amp n sub without usin the stalk (SUCKS!).. and thanks for the help about where to run the wire, i did it this morning!

Not 100% on the C2's but when I had my megane, you could remove the plastic cover under the steering wheels and undo the stalk controls to get them out of the way. Might be worth a thought?

Does your dash display still work? If so, what does it display?

you can get a patch for around £35 which will make the stalk controls work

I've always bought from Caraudiosecurity.com and never had a problem.

not all headunits will work with the stalks even with the patch
