A few people have mentioned about getting black alloys for my SEAT, now, I've looked at the possibility of getting them painted black (matt black). Look below for a quick photoshop I did, opinions? Also, how good is it to get them painted? Ive read that they can tend to chip easily?

looks good, but powdercoating FTW. i got mine painted last year and they needed work within the year - if i had known i would have got mine powdercoated first time. just picked mine up from being powdercoated and they look a million times better!

I would paint the side bumper strip red first before anything, seems strange that the front and rear are red but the side isn't. As for black alloys, I would also advise the red band round would look nice. Oh, and I also like the subtle rear tints you added :P .

i painted my Arosa wheels Satin black.

cheapest way to do it is remove the tyres.

p80 the alloy removing any marks ect, p180 removing deep sanding lines, p320 smooth now.

Primer it, let it dry. P600 the primer to it's smooth and a keysurface for the matt black paint too stick to.

Now just put 3 light coats of matt black.

tyres back on job done.
