Evening all.

Im Installing a new install in my boot, i have all the equipment and im just wondering, when installing two subs in one box, is it best to divide the box into two, so essentially having two boxes c/w two ports, or keep them together in the same box?
Also if they dont have a division, will i need two or just the one port?

Thanks in advance. :thumb:

this is bit of a guess but i wouldnt think it would make a difference if u devide it or not. as for port u could do two small/mid ports or one larger one? theres prob a way to work the air displacement out = how big the hole should be but i dont know, if i was u id keep it in one box with no devide and then do two mid sized ports under the subs.

logically theyre playing the same thing so they shouldnt need to be seperated, but id say give them a seperate port, again just a guess though

Best to seperate them! give thme there own enclosures but as one. also give them there own ports. with al;l this it shud give it a deeper bass sound. but dnt 4 get the sound proofing!

iN SUCH A SMALL CAR NOT NEED TO PORT The last thing you need is more SPL and no sound quality, seperate enclosures about 1.25QU FT each. This will give you nice tight bass, and if your music has quick beats then even better. Ports will give u slightly deeper bass but will turn your subs to one note wonders as we call them.
