Its a personal taste depending on what music u listen to. 10" will give u quicker tighter sounding bass great for fast beat music. 12" wil give u higher SPL and drop lower but wont be as responsive to listen to.

In smaller cars 10" always sound better but its ure taste

I got a 10" Vibe Black Air and Fli 1000 loaded amp, both brand new, work out cheaper if your interested and that way can make a box to whatever size ya like of just buy one?
