i have a headunit from my old car and hoped to fit it in my c2, its a mk 2.
is there a way this can be done without causing problems with the head up display and central locking etc.

thanks

mk 2 u need special lead from halfords (orsuch place) to run it proply. dont bother with citroen one.

go to halfords ask them what lead ull need, (tell them what type of head unit) then its plug and play till u get to the switched live, which needs to go to the cig lighter live. then it will go on/off with the ignition. sorted.

if ur not confident get them to fit it or ask them for advice.

Phil, Halfords guy told me they didn't stock leads for the C2 MK2?

This is why it's all confusing :(

have a look on the connects2 website, they have them on there. you will lose stalk controls too remember unless you get the adaptor for that too (only available for certain makes of h/u)

Halfords will tell u anything 2 get rid of u if it sounds like they mite have to do sum work.

Try a local specialist they will be a lot more helpful and most probably cheaper. Also ask about installation if your not confident. That way any problems u can just go straight bak to them
