Umm. Where to begin.. This story might seem a little sad but I am trying to stay upbeat even though it is hard.
3/3/09 I purchased a 2008 Mazda RX-8. Things where going great but then I was given a pay cut at work. Quickly I found out that I was not going to be able to afford this car. So back to the dealer I go plead my case they try there best to help me but they are limited on what they can do. What they done for me was Part EX the car and Sold me a new one. Only thing was I had to pay the difference of the Part EX and Final sale Up front (£3200 ).. Money I didn't really have spare. This was the only way the finance company was going to give me credit on another car. ( I needed a car bad )
Today (31/03/09 ) I have just taken delivery of my 06 C2 1.6 16v VTS in Black. 21k on the clock. And over all I an pleased with the car. Its nippy for the daily commute I do and a riot on the B roads. Only complaint I have is that I think the previous owner was a smoker because the car dose stink.
Also is there a way to stiffen up the clutch pedal its so light and after driving that RX i am finding it awkward to get the bite. Also the bite seems to be quite high up on the pedal.. I assume this is normal.
In a few months when I start getting money back I will join up in the club properly. I will take some pictures tomorrow and post them up after I have given her a wash.
