hi all

i am thinking about getting a C2 but thought i would join up here and ask a few questions :D.

i currently have a Clio sport 172

but am looking to save some money a month, so i have been thinking about c2.

the one i have been looking at is a 2004 c2 vts thats been remaped to 142 bhp. now does anyone know what kind of mpg id be getting from that?

also id be using it for everything, ie going on holiday the works! so can the back seat be lowered to fit a big suit case?


also the car has been lowered 60 mm if i was to get it would people on here be interested in swapping the 60mm ones for something like 30 - 35mm ones?


also whats the tax on these? are they genually good on petrol?

it all depends on how u drive it but if u drive it economically u wil get like 50 mpg i got 300 miles to a tank and it only takes like £34 of vpower to fill it up and the tax for the year is £145. but the vts your looking at buying is older than mine so dont kno if that has anything to do with it

Mate of mine easily averages over 40mpg in his 182.

ohh yea i can average over 40. but never heard of a vts averaging over 50mpg lol everyone else must be heavy footed here.. ohh well :)

Anyway keep the Clio, You will miss it when its gone! So much fun to drive!..
