right lets get 1 thing str8 i never! wash my car so its really dirty on the rear half and the front is all nice and shiney from the respray. so i decided while im off i want to wash/wax and detail (what even that is) it but dont really know where to start/
so couple basic questions, what is the 2 bucket method? as i hear this is the best way to wash the car. and how do u dry the car? apart from a really big hair dryer?
whats the best (fairly cheep, no more then £10) car shampoo?
i was then plannin on giving it a go over with some t-cut,
and then a coat of wax, (agen whats the best 1 for around £15-£20)#
also how do u detail? blackout for trims/tyres ect?
any tips and advice will be greatly recived :)

lol u could wash it for me? how much does the auto glym cost normally?
zymol car shampoo... seen it in halfords for about £6.
its brilliant
the two bucket method bascaily you have two buckets, one with the shampoo in the other wiht just warm water in.
you use the bucket with just water in the rinse the microfibre mitt (NOT SPONGE) so the grit and drit will go into that bucket and not the one with the soapy water in :)
wax wise, im gettin collinite 475 wax soon, its a bit pricy (around £16) but been told will last around half a year per application
polish, autoglym super resin polish iv been using and been amazing water beading.
hope this helps :)

Collinite is around £22, and its a wax :)
The 2 Bucket Method is where you use two buckets.
You fill one with your shampoo (Warm water) and the other just clean normal water (Warm).. When you come to clean the car, rinse it down with the hose, if you use the pressure washer don't directly point it at the paint.. This makes the contaminents in the paint even deeper.
When you dip your Washmitt - Don't use a sponge, their very very bad for the paint.. Dip it in the nice shampood water, then when you've done abit on the car.. Dip it in the clean water bucket, to rinse all the dirt off.. Then back in the shampoo one, and so on so you don't get dirt in the shampoo water.
Shampoo.. I recommend this one to everyone, though I don't want it getting to widely known
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/car-wash-shampoos/dodo-juice-sour-power-shampoo-250ml/prod_558.html
You can't get it from Halfrauds, its too good for there. Trust me! I've nearly £200 of cleaning stuff
Don't T-Cut it either, No No.. Not good!
Clay your car.. Its amazing.
http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/detailing-clay/meguiars-quik-clay-kit/prod_226.html
That, you can get from Halfords though. You just clean the car as normal, then dry it. Then Clay it.. This gets all the contaminents from the paint, it really does make your paint feel like glass.. I can't recommend it enough. If you decide to do this, i'll do a quick guide on how to.. You only do it every 6 months or so aswell.
Any other products/methods, let me know.

how to dry it?
With one of these..
Pat it on the really wet/pooling bits.. Wipe it on the rest.. Make sure the car is very clean when you do it though.

Microfibre is not very good for drying, its too small too.. Use them for using Tardis/Degreaser/General cleaning and wiping, along with window cleaning.
The towel is very good, i've got 2.. Only because I put one in the wash and forgot to not use conditioner/powder
Clay.. You just clean the car, and dry it afterwards.. Then get the clay, and the quick detailer (QD).. Spray the QD on a panel and wipe it with the clay.. Its a weird feeling at first, but after a panel its easy.. Just keep it lubed up and its fine.
Really the clay will amaze you!

Yes, defo!
Really.. You won't stop feeling the paint its so like glass :D

That one.. Its got wax in it, well a little bit.. So it helps make it shine and protects it too.. Also, works like RainX.. You can go along at 70mph and not use your wipers because the paint beads so well.
That Shampoo, then Clay then a good wax and you'll be very impressed.
