Another VTR from Finland

Hi Everybody.

Just a briefing for my project.

About few weeks ago i got my Ninja Bodykit from Cituning,
Amazing delivery time (1.5 weeks from Britain to Finland).
Thanks and hellos to Sean @ Cituning uk.

What we're doing is to fit the Hella round front repeaters to the bumper and make custom eyebrows to cover the originals.

The sideskirts are laminated into body.

On the back we had to get rid of the spare tire to get the Simons exhaust out from the center with Momo Twin Muffler tips.

Rims are 17" MVKs with 205/40/17 Semperit tires.

As i write, my bodykit is having a paintjob, anyhow, for starters

next thing is to remove the badges, clear lexus lights. First thoughts were for the black lexus ones but its more like the same style because of the rims and silverish nets on the bumpers.

And the car is in desperate need of lowering... --> next month.

the eyebrows are still work in progress.

Thats looking good mate so far, i think you should get the wing mirrors colour-coded though :)

actually C2's are quite rare. All the older people wants the 5 door C3. and C2VTS came only 6 months ago. GT never sold here.

I think there are about from 2 to 5 modded C2 in Finland. All the rest,
roughly only ~200 cars are the basic 1.1-1.4sx, or 1.4 VTR's

C2 has been available about for a year in here...

All the markings from the back were stripped.
Also tried for the chrome vinyls, not sure about keeping them next summer.

I Also Bought a Palm PDA to direct me on the road (GPS Navigation with TomTom Mobile).. Also a small Upgrade to the ICE.. Very Cheap, but working LG MP3 Single-CD Player, Infinity Kappa -series 6½" & 5½" Speakers + Blaupunkt db8000a Active Subwoofer. Not much, but a lot better than stock ones..

Next thing is to do something to the interior.

yes the normal things like better looking door Mats, Leather steeringwheel "Cover", Aluminium pedals and footrest, Audi TT Vent Rings and gearknob ring.

Chrome Side repeaters, Aluminium Antenna.. Cituning Direct Induction Kit is also coming.

Still thinking about the mirrors... not yet sure about changing...

I like it!

The Gap is because of the bumper isn't fitting as good as it could. It needs new screwholes. Because of the stupid fitting of the original bumper its hard to get the Ninja bumper to fit correctly. Front bumper should be higher than it is at the moment.

Quite hard to send, because those chrome vinyls are very thick and hard ones, it feels like bending aluminium when we were putting those on the car. So you cannot bend the "Vinyls" to get a small packege, because it breaks.

I Think easiest way is to take a photo of my car and go to your local vinyl shop and ask for similar ones.

Air intake, Pedal set,

TT-Vent rings and Gearknob Ring (But they're quite poor quality... i was totally suprised by the quality... looks like home made and spraypainted...
And a tip for SD owners, dont order the gearknob ring... it doesn't look good or fit correctly... i think only manual models would be good.

New Side repeaters and blingbling license-plates from germany that has my nick on it . (not in pictures yet..)

The leather steering wheel cover and new mats are still on its way.. no hurry because the car is going to sleep over the winter...

My C2 is sleeping through the winter, I'll start working with the ice in January '06... Just bought a cheap car for the winter =) a -82 Carina DX =)
The main thing is that when it's slippery, you better have an RWD car to have fun

G'day.

It has been a long time since i wrote to this forum last time, but i guess now is a good time...

I finished the boot, amps and woofers installed, also new mirrors came in and a different rear spoiler, vinyls have also changed, but the car has got a quite a lot of hits from gravel (a lot of gravel roads here), so it is going for a new paintjob, not sure if i'm going to change the colour or not.
