sorry if its a bit random and a re-post

i got my 1st car when i was 16 (never drove it but brother gave me a metro that sat on the drive until i scrapped it!!) !

However i got my 1st proper car when i was 20 the same day i passed my test! :) A YELLOW yes YELLOW nova and i loved it! :):)

Got mine when I was 16 too, drove it up and down my driveway until I got my provisional and was allowed out on real roads!!

Taught me great clutch control though :)

It was a Datsun Sunny (bet you wont remember them!) but the drive was only 5 cars long - I looked a little silly goin backwards and forwards but its clutch control all the same ! :lol:

Got my first car which was the 1.1sx C2 poseidon blue in nov 03 so 53reg, and i was 22 and passed test July 04 when i was 23yo .

I passed my test in December, I drove my boyfs pug 206 until March when he was kind enough to part exchange it for my (our) C2 (thanks mikey xx) so my first car was the C2 and I was 21 : )

i got mine in october 2001, but i didnt pass until february 2002.

Got my C2 on my 17th birthday, passed my test in it just over 2 weeks later.

Passed my test at 18 and drove my dads 406 coupe for a while before I bought my corsa, that lasted exactly 1 year to the month.

Then my experiment to test its driveability upside down went pete tong and I was back driving my mums car for a wee while before I found a suitable replacement - the c2 vts!

I passed when I was 17, shared a ford Ka ( Whoop !!! ) with my mother for 2 years then bought a pug 206 when I was 19.

No option for me, I was 12 when I got my first car, project for me and my Dad, 1969 Triumph Herald, bought for £40 in 1984, and totally restored it ready for me to pass my test. That could be why I am such a petrolhead, and know the full working of a car :-)
