Hi all, im sure someone will be able to help with this,

i have found a webite showing different amp and sub wiring options, (Link in case people want it) (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-C6FbnxF6EHb/learn/learningcenter/car/subwoofers_wiring.html)

my question is, i would like to fit one amp to two subs, which wiring layout would be best for this, if there is a better or worse.

also will it effect the power output etc

Thinking of going for the 2 ohm set up also...............

Thanks in advance, and im sure all you bass junkies out there will be able to help ;)

also, will both of the above make the subs and amps be at 4ohm or will it be more, 4 + 4 ????

im getting more confused the more i look into it, lol

from an electronics point of view the second one looks better, and it looks like it would be 8ohm on that one, but i cant quite figure out the first one lol, but thats probably cause im used to proper electrical diagrams

Looking for new mate, Hifonics Sub and Amp

the amp will probably be a ZXi 1006 - 2 Channel

and subs, 2x 12" Hifonics Brutus 2ohm.

is it not better to have the lowest resistance possible that way you get the most power out of your amp??

to be honest, all are pointless. Each sub needs its own amp, so both can be used an optimum power
