Hi guys

Got my new VTS last week (love it) but want to do some mods! I have enough cash at the mo to put a Pipercross Viper induction kit OR a custom powerflow exhaust! I want increased bhp and it to sound mean - so which would you guys do, if you could only do one?

Cheers

Si

Neither of them will add much power, its more about the sound i believe

a few bhp at most, go for the exhaust first ;)

Pipercross claim the induction will add 10 bhp to a C2 vts!

induction kits can actually improve the BHP a little, mainly enclosed ones such as the viper and BMC, as they force more cold air into the engine. Also a full cat back exhaust system can add a little more BHP.

Personally i would choose the exhaust first, as you will not notice the full effect of the Viper without the exhaust, so you may feel a little badly done by if you stick the viper on by its self.

I would also go for a magnex, cos they rule eh sue :D :D ;)

Be careful with a powerflow exhasut. You have to keep good care of them

I personally would go for an exhaust, just because it would look and sound so much better than the standard pea shooter!

I've got a VTS with a standard exhaust, K&N Typhoon and 20k under its belt and i personally think that it sounds the nuts!

I like the way it can be barely heard at 7am when i'm warming the engine before my daily treck but on the flip side i love the way it howls over 5k.

Just a gentle blip at the lights gets people looking over aswell if your into that sort of thing....

What Viper is that??? :P
With Viper and a pipercross will get him a most 10bhp!! And remapping the Ecu will give 15bhp at most!

Why hype over the 2 or 3 bhp you may or may not get from a new airfilter? :? Even if you are 'lucky' and get some more bhp, you will never ever feel any difference.
