I was wondering what was everyones opinion on future energy provisions, like more windfarms or nuclear power and in particular with nuclear power the transportation of the waste around the country, in light of last weekend Mirror stunt in London.

I have my reasons for asking, maybe revealed in the future.... ;)

Imported gas wouldn't work so well, since the gas will run out relatively soon. Wind power just isn't efficient enough. Nuclear is the only really feasible choice of the ones listed there, however the waste still poses an issue.

They take away all your waste by train

Aka Direct Rail Services

Nuclear is pretty natural. The sun is sorta like a big nuclear reactor...although doesn't produce energy using the same method as our power stations do...

nuclear will be a good bet for the future, as long as we sort out technology nuclear fusion. It's safer, makes more energy, and less waste compared to nucler fission (what we use now). You think they will do a nuclear powered c2?

really intrested in this kind of thing global warming seems to be a ever important issue now so i think porbaly wind and wave farms would make the best re-newable source of energy as petrol aint gonna last for ever!

I'd happily put solar panels on my roof (looks outside at rain!) and a windmill for electric if it were cheap enough :)
