I have a mk2 furio 1.4, recently changed out all the speakers new head unit and amped the rear speakers. now for some reason the rear speakers get feedback which seems to range in frequency when i use the throttle.
Weird i know, :?
i have a jbl 400w amp powering 2 13cm 240w vibes and well there arent nearly as impressive as they should be.
i have had a look at my wiring and i used the grommet on the drivers side behind the pedals for the power lead this seemed to be to be the only available place to run the power lead? anyone else use a different one?
This is also where i think the problem is but i have no idea have to fix it. all the connectors are crimped properly and its grounded on a rear seat bolt.
Any and all ideas/views are welcome.

are you running your amps power lead down the same side of your car as your phono leads? thats what usually causes it

no the rc leads go down the other side going to try a different set of rcs will let you know if that helps but everything is seperate

Hmm, unless your using cheap RCA's, try using a sound suppressor, other than that try grounding your RCA leads as well, and make sure the power lead is well away from any speaker cables.

You need a ground loop isolator which plugs in-line with you audio cable to your amp.
Its the magnetic filed from the alternator thats causing the problem, thats why it soounds like a reving sound because the magnetic field grows stronger the higher the engine revs.

yeh i used a ground loop insulator on mine, make sure you get a good quality one, the first one i got wasnt, and it hardly worked and just made the connections bad.

That looks about right, it has female and male heads on it, you just put your RCA cables into it from your headunit, then plug it into your amp, its really simple, when you see it it will be obvious. Hope it works!
