Karting - 24th january

anyone fancy going Go-Karting ?

i was thinking of goin in janurary, im not sure which weekend i want it to be yet but i was thinking of the saturday the 24th of january depending on numbers etc also its at warden law near sunderland.

we could go for a cruise/meet or watever before or after we have been karting, dont really know my way around sunderland etc like so dont know any good spots

I race Rotax max karts, if anyone was wishing to take it up seriously i do instruction at most circuits in the uk generally on weekends tho not available during the week.

Good man, its nice to see some other racers on here. New season starting soon they can stuff the winter series far too cold for me lol, last season i ran a CRG road rebel this year looks as if im on a Tony :P

I've always fancied doin it seriously but never known how to get into it, did it once at like a theme park thing but it was very good and with 200cc carts! Loved it and would really like to do it again!

the one im in in that pic was only a 125cc but it did 100mph and 0-60 in like under 4 secs or summit

Yeah Rotax Max are 125cc tag engines, you should try a DD2 mate or a europa lol scarey stuff.

In regards to getting into karting it depends on what you wants to achieve/race catagory wise?

For MSA events that i race in you need an ARKS licence. Or you can go down the road of Club 100 or hire karting etc.

bloody hell 100mph on a 125 is pretty quick, I thought kart engines were from a variator before the final drive?

i dunno bout variators and final drives etc but it deffo did 100mph

quad biking mate, its cheaper it last long, its not a race and its bloody hilarious.

I recon after the sucess of shoe box laser quest at the last meet we should get a paintballing meet sorted
