I'm planning yet another C2 Club meet - this time one based in the south of the country.

isnt all that much whizzing really, thus the word 'cruise' - cruising fairly sedately about enjoying the drive. best one is the looks you get all parked up at a pub or at the services or somesuch. anyone know the layout of the car park at reading?! first person there make sure to park where there's plenty of space!

First person make sure you park wit a C2 thats in the club, not like last meet they park next to a 05 C2 VTS that wasn't part of the club.

lol, best place is probably as far from the building as possible - attracts less attention especially as the thames valley motorway police have a mini-depot there!!

should be hopefully gaining a jody&sue near the M1 too :)

basically, we'll all meet at reading, hang about til roughly midday then take a stroll around the countryside and find a decent pub, have some lunch, doss about some more and see what we wanna do from there. there's no real organisation so it, and it isn't really to do with razzing about, just cruising it :)

should be a good one, the list in the original post to this thread is constantly being updated :)

i was passing reading last sunday and i thought id pop in and check the layout when you go in follow it all the way down to the car parking and the first person there try and find about 15 spaces if thats possible

we've also got a guy whos seen the site a couple of times but has no net atm coming, has a silver VTS with 18" tsw pace, coloured handles and mirrors, dropped 50mm and exhaust done coming along from cardiff.

yet another safety notice !!! watch out for mobile units on the m4 between hungerford(j14) & swindon (j16) the rozzas are doing loads of people going over 79mph on that stretch as a clamp down on safety.

Sorry peeps I was in tears this morning, filled up my tank last night. Started her up this morning and sound like a tractor :'-( total loss of power about a 20 mph max. I think I'm running on three cylinders. Taking her into Citroen tomorrow. Probably just a faulty plug me finx cuz my toxic fume warnin lite on and strong smell of sulphur as well. I was gutted. Sorry to let you's down I promise you (all being well with the car) I'll be at the next one :'-(

ha im the first to post!!! that was class, although i have sunburn now, pictures later. only 9 turned out :( 4 black, 4 blue and a silver. 1x l. 2x sx, 2x furio, 1x gt, 3x vts. Foud some excellent roads. Completely stunned and confused many people, including an old dude in a c2 turning out of a citroen dealership at 9 of us rolled by. weather was fantastic, sat in a big oopen pub garden, got some good photos, had a good laugh and hopefully everyone has fun.

not as kool as my and vts-kid's move this morning, outside lane of the m25 to the m4 exit lane in one swooping dive between traffic at 50mph :D

so glad i got air con, ran it most the way home til i dived off the motorway to cut across country just for the hell of it :D although had to turn it off on the hills on the m25 where it goes to 4 lanes so i could maintain 80mph :lol:

Is the C2 Furio a nippy car then? One try to over take me on the A465 Merthyr Tydfil and it couldn't get past me. Mind you my C3 Exclusive is nippy.

the 1.4 is barely faster than the 1.1, were 9 attendees at the height of things, will give a detailed report later on, probably.
