Yo Dude,

I was considering one of these when I changed my head unit, the only thing that put me off it was the size of the external microphone for the Bluetooth Handsfree feature which clips to your sun visor.

I ended up going for this unit instead because the microphone is built in to it

I know it doesn't have an SD card slot, but you can still fit about 150 tracks on a CD in mp3 format, and it has a 3.5mm jack plug socket on the front so I attach my IPod to that and it works great. This particular link is for a Factory Refurb unit but it comes with a full 12 month guarentee and when mine arrived I couldn't tell the difference between a brand new one and mine.

I bought the Kenwood KDC-BT8401U: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_50 6221_langId_-1_categoryId_165474

It does full ipod control on the headunit, as well as charging the ipod. It also has bluetooth and although it has an external microphone, it's not too big and is designed to sit behind the steering wheel.
