Discounted prices are as follows:-

Adults £6.00 (Please have correct money for me please ;-) )

We will have our own area for parking and I will confirm this on the day when we arrive.
During the day we can look around site and wonder freely, then at 2.15pm I have arranged a free guide tour of the museum as well so we can learn more about the history of the vehicles at the site this will last about 45 minutes.
Also I have arranged for us to be allowed after to park along the front of the museum so we can have our grand photo shoot before leaving to the pub for some food.

4.30pm (16.30hrs ;-) )

I have paid a securing deposit (£50.00) for us to take over the Gaydon Inn Pub Restaurant.

They have adequate parking for us around the pub, also there is an overflow carpark at the back that they will open up for us.

The meal consists of a Sunday Roast ( I believe it will be a choice of either Beef or Lamb that day) £6.50 per person.

I will arrange for you all to park together, and you can group them in front of the Museum for a photoshoot , you can use it for whatever you wish.
Free tours of the museum can be booked in advance.
If you would like to provisionally book the visit, email me back with your postal address, telephone number and where you heard about us. I will then post you a car club pack including booking form.

We have an interesting event on the same day which is always fun to watch.

Lol Yeah funny enough I did speak to peeps but was just buzzed with the
tour. If can remember correctly it took me nearly half hour to find me mates.

I would suggest if we do go ahead with the tour to do the 2.15pm one. Due to 11.15am is very close to us turning up.

I will be using the numbers from the Definate list (Don't worry people that are on the possible list you are still able to attend if you are able too, this is only for the museum to know we are definatly interested and to reserve our parking spaces and our free guide)

Will be sending a confirmation e-mail tonight to confirm booking ? reservation, I will enquire about what you have said. But I presume this is only for the restaurant area, I believe they do pub grub at the bar and tables as well.

But it does say Large Car Park can accomodate upto 3 coaches. (A coach usually holds 52 people = 156people) So I am sure 15+ C2's and 24+ people should be OK, but I will check again. ;-)

Thanks Si for checking the numbers thing. I agree 3 coaches in 26 seats will be a bit of a squeeze, especially if they're fat grannies.

****FEEDBACK REQUIRED URGENTLY****


Have just been in touch with the pub and they require a refundable £50 deposit from us to confirm the booking.(Which I will pay) At the moment I have provisionally booked for 26 meals but the pub can accomodate more if needed.
They have also informed that only Sunday roasts are available at £6.50 each on that day. The choices are Beef and Lamb or Beef and Pork depending on chefs choice on the day. Also pub requires to know if any vegetarians will be attending so they can organise meals for these.
Please let me know ASAP if anyone has a problem with any of this and if there are any veggies attending.

Well that weird, GREAT MINDS think alike, that was going to be my surprise if I could arrange it, but seeings two of us are now approaching SQ about a meeting, then it may come off.

Watch this space.... We are both trying our hardest to arrange it.... Chris is meeting up with the owner of the SQ C2 next week and will try and persuade him with Free entry to the Museum and a Pub Meal ;-) Also it would give his company abit more publicity if a picture is posted up on here.

I am a member of the biggest Citroen C2 club www.c2club.co.uk I am organising at the moment an official Midlands meet for the club at the British Heratage Motor Museum in Gaydon Warwickshire on Sunday 17th September 2006 at 11.00am At this present moment we have approx 20 C2's attending (Lx's/Sx's/Furio's/Gt's/Vtr's/Vts's also a few highly modified ones) also we have invited along the SQ ALIEN C2 (Seen on Top Gear). We were wondering if a representative from Citroen UK would like to come along and join us and maybe pubicise our club through the Citroen Group or even sponsor our day at the museum. i have had a reply from sq and he has said that he does want to come but is having some problems getting a trailor to transport it as it is a little to far for him to drive it (which is understandable) so if it doesnt happen this time he will probably come to a meet if it is around the north west :)

Put me down for a 99.9% sure. I am currently going through a break up with my girlfriend of 4 years, so i will be coming unless there is something i need to do with that, like move out! All depends on what we decide with regards to the mortgage etc.
