Personal Number Plate

I found a personal plate on DVLA "C2 JCY" for £399 but i can't decide if i should have that cus I ain't gonna keep my car for life and the plates got C2 on it. Give some ideas!

Personally I wouldnt mate, as you said its gonna be useless when you get a new car, and if you sell your car with the plate its hardly worth it.

I got a plate with my name on, thats the best way to it I think.

I got one with an early prefix so it can still go on older cars too.

You'd have difficulties finding a way to put alex on a plate, you could have ALX perhaps?

yeah ive seen cheap plates like XX05ALX, tbh if i went for a private plate Id want one that doesnt follow the current format of 2 letters 2 nums and 3 letters, i.e id have ALX1 if I wanted my name on it.

My idea one is DAV1D of course, it does exist, but I believe its around £30,000 at least 8O 8O

I was considering getting a private plate with C2 JCL, but they dont have it! grrr! so instead, I am about to get C17 YJL which basically spells out CITY JL, with me been a Manchester City fan.

I did see I can get C2 PSO for £399 which has all my initials on but I'm not gonna bother due to the obsolete'ness of it after I hand my C2 back to Motability. Pluis i dont have £399 spare ;)

id stick to plates that have your name or initials not the car type cos then there interchangable......

Ive got C2 VTR now and it looks fantastic and is always commented on, looking for a plate for myself for my next car but havent found anything i like.

Reason i have this plate is when i had my saxo i wanted a VTR plate, looked around and decided on C2 VTR, i bought it 4 years ago now.

I saw M11VGE on a BMW once. If you spread it around a bit you get

M1 1VGE and if you imagine the 1V is an N you get the idea.

I also saw B10WME once which was also funny.

iv got M70REL as mine had it on my lupo before hand, its suppose to be be MORRELL (my last name)
would have been bettr to have M07REL but because the lupo wasnt an 07 plate i could have it, the c2 is a 07 plate tho :(
