USC, the show to end all shows

Ultimate Street Car, or USC is possibly one of the best shows around. Its over at Santa Pod Raceway.

They have camping there, like Modified Nationals really, only bigger, better, and with more to do.

Ill be heading up on Friday (taking the day off work :P ), camping over Friday and Saturday night, and heading straight down to a wedding on Sunday!!! hahaha, its gonna be such a messy weekend for me! :lol:

I'm still on holiday that weekend or I was gonna pitch up.

I live about 10 mins from Santa Pod, so will definately be there, probably camp it with some mates for the music tent on the Saturday night :)

Gonna be a bad journey though, the C2 was kinda hurt last year, didnt make it to santa pod, some dappy bitch in a jeep cheroke pulled out of a junction into the side of me before the Poddington turning :(

Well, got back from USC yesterday. Was well good. Got very drunk, saw some drag racing, drifting, and plenty of birds and loud music. There was a 2 seater drag racer there. Saw that run up the strip. I would not have wanted to be the passenger! Did the 1/4 mile in about 8 seconds from what i remember, and was going 180 odd mph by the end! Which of course was nothing compared to the jet dragster! 1/4 mile in around 6 seconds, and hit 210 mph!

Only saw 2 other C2s there, a black one near my stand. Didnt have model badges on it, but it had Marx style headlight brows, black rear lights, and a spoiler. I must admit, I wasnt that impressed with it. He/she'd coloured the rear badges black, which looked ok, but theyd started flaking off.
It did however go up the strip, saw him in the queue to take it up. Dunno what time it did, it had rear drums so unless it had a big lump in it, i cant imagine it did overly well. But hats off to to you! I wish Id taken mine up the strip.

The second one was a standard sport red vts which i saw in the queue to get out on Sunday. Thats all i saw!

And.... i only managed to get one photo before my phone died! And it was a pic of the sky! :lol:

Some people came and checked out my car for ages while we were at our camp, walking all round it discussing the exhaust and the front grill and that. I think one of them might have owned a C2 as well, coz infront of my car was a BMW M6, and they were more interested in my Citroen than the M6 :lol: *chuffed look* :P

Anywho, was anyone else there?

Mikey - Correction to you... the fastest the FireForce 3 jet car ran over the whole weekend was 4.673 @ 317mph.

I was hid away at the back of the club camping area, some fucking cunt had managed to hit my car and now have some cracking on the rear bumper :(
