hey all,

Can you get caught of a speed camera that is on the other side of the road and your driving towards the flash side?

Cause I was coming out of Edinburgh tonight and one flashed me from the other side of the road.

I'm from Livingston mate, I'll tell you the one I got flashed at, you know where the prison near sighthill it's the speed camera just after it. I've been past it before over the limit and never got flashed but I dunno why it flashed this time,

How long does it take to come through if you are getting points and a fine?

The only cameras that flash are ones that take photos from the back. Front facing cameras don't have a visible flash as it is distracting and dangerous.

i looked at a website and the camera that flashed me is a Static Gatso and says the directions of the camera is eastbound although i was driving out of edinburgh (west bound).

oh and btw, dont quote me because everywhere in the UK i have driven, they have different styles of speed cameras, but i though that ones facing you had to be on your side to catch you.

was showing up before, now its not. basically he got flashed by a camera facing him on the other side of the road...i think lol
