passenger seat problem

on the weekend i pushed the leaver down for the passenger seat to go down when i moved it forward to let people in the back the seat wouldn't return to the position i colaped the seat at it went all the way back then decided to lock there which is very handly if people in the back have got really thin legs but its played it again today like going all the way back then locking then i have to pull the seat forward to get the seat back properly anyone have any idea's i have noticed a lil block on the rails when its about to play up

sounds like the locking mechanism has broke, hear of alot of this happening .

Try pushing the seat {gently} back as far as it will go, then forward as far....often the seat lock clip jams open and this can return it to its normal position.

Even a spray of 'magic' WD40 may work.

this happend to me, expet mine got stuck, would not move, luckly citroen solved it under warrenty

its not affected the seat yet like just the base even tho i did give the seat a lil punch this morning wen the top part locked but that sorted it out but not sure what to do wit the base dont really wanna take the seat out like and put it back on knowing me i'll c0ck it up lol. i've tried pushing it back then forward that works temperary but only happens if people go in the back sometimes

i made a rule that mine was a 2-seater, it solved the problem. Putting a PIONEER TS WX11A under the passenger seat...sort of bu**ered it anyway!
